Streets Beach

Brisbane's Inner City Beach Paradise

This man-made sandy beach overlooking the Brisbane river has been a Favourite of locals and visitors alike since 1992. Set in the middle of Southbank parklands, theres plenty to do apart from swimming. Playgrounds, snacks, a BBQ or a picnic on the grass, and around 17 hectares to stroll through.

Being the middle of the city, you’ve obviously got a plethora of restaurants, cinemas, the Queensland Museum. Just across the river you’ve got the shopping of the Queen Street pedestrian mall, and parking nearby as well as trains, busses, ferries and footpaths make coming and going a breeze.
