Theres plenty of actual beach, if thats what you’re after. Glenelg beach is wide and long stretch of sand. But then again, there’s plenty here to satisfy almost anyone.

Sit in a sidewalk cafe, spend the afternoon shopping, let the kids run wild and nearby playgrounds. Twilight Markets are occasionally held, as are a variety of sporting events and activities most weekends. History buffs can explore exhibitions at the Glenelg Town Hall or visit the not too far away Old Gumtree Reserve, where the colony of South Australia was proclaimed in 1836.

Nearby jetty road is famous for its specialty stores and your stomach can visit nearly any corner of the globe it desires with the incredible choice of international restaurants.

After a days fun, grab an ice cream, and slow down for a stroll along the beachfront while watching the sun set.
