City beaches
Streetsâ Beach
Just a stroll across the bridge from the CBD youâll find Streets beach. Located in the heart of the Southbank parklands, it really is an oasis in amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.

Family beaches
Sutton Beach, Redcliffe
Grassed areas, BBQâs, picnic tables, Childrenâs playground, calm waters, lots of parking, just over 30kmâs from the CBD. Need we say more?
Kids Beaches
Wynnum Wading Pool
Ok, ok, not technically a beach but this one is perfect for the kiddies. Up to 75cm deep and with a slide for extra fun. With a jetty and shops nearby, you can make a day of it.
Surf beaches
Woorim Beach, Bribie Island
A little bit further afield than our other beaches, but still less than a couple of hours away, itâs easily accessible if youâre hankering for a surf. Located on nearby Bribie island, the conditions are well-suited for beginner surfers, but you can also bring the fishing rods or pack a picnic if surfing is not your thing.
Dog beaches
Raby Bay, Cleveland
Your furry friends will love it. And the calm waters are great for swimming or paddle boarding for the kids. With Clevelandâs shops and cafes nearby, youâve got everything you need.
