Adelaide’s Best Beaches
The city beach
Glenelg Beach
With good access, close to the city, boutiques, cafes restaurants, all nearly the family friendly beach, no wonder Glenelg is Adelaide’s most popular beach. Picnic areas, playgrounds, or come back at night for cocktails
Grab a lounge or booth and sip a drink at the Moseley beach Club or for real luxory stay the night at the Stamford grand Hotel right on the beachfront.

Another City Beach
Brighton Beach
Adelaide is simply spoilt for choice when it comes to city beaches (Henley, Glenelg, Brighton… amongst others) so we’ve included another beach close to the city so you can to mix things up if you want! Like its big brother Glenelg, Brighton got everything you could want; stylish cafes, boutiques for a spot of shopping, great choice of restaurants, a jetty to wander along, all set next to the vast golden stretch of sand. The Espy (Esplanade) hotel is the perfect place grab a meal and start to take it all in, set right in the thick of things overlooking the Brighton jetty.

The laid-back beach
West Beach
A quieter more laid back beach, but still so close to the city. Popular activities include swimming and kitesurfing. Bike trails are nearby, as well as mini-golf and Mega Adventure Climbing park.

The Postcard Beach
Port Noarlunga
This place is postcard perfect and just 30 km from Adelaide. Port Noarlunga Reef Aquatic Reserve is popular with snorkeler and divers. Just walk to end the end of the jetty, down the stairs and you’re ready to go! If you’re just after a leisurely swim, the sheltered beach makes for calm waters that match the tranquil surroundings.

The Postcard Nudist Beach
Maslin Beach
Like Port Noarlunga, the scenery around Maslin beach is stunning. A pretty cove where stunning colourful cliffs drop off into clear blue waters. As well as being renowned as a beach with stunning landscapes, it’s also well-known for being Australia’s first nudist beach, so it’s perfect for those looking for either. Or for both…
